Why a marketing plan for your small business gives structure to help get your marketing started

The one thing you don't have as a small business owner is TIME!

I was speaking with a small business owner last week, a lovely woman who is a Coach and Counsellor within the health industry. As we were discussing the biggest OBSTACLES in stopping her achieving business goals, she paused and said "a lack of ENERGY".

I was taking notes and wrote down the word ENERGY. She continued to explain what she meant by "a lack of ENERGY", and in that, she said she actually meant TIME, because the "lack of TIME drains her ENERGY".

We laughed as she spoke about this dilemma and she could tell that it wasn’t the first time we heard that TIME was the enemy for small business owners. Not a new phenomenon.

What’s going to make sure that the LIMITED TIME and ENERGY you spend on your business and marketing is going to work?? Structure. Structure. Structure.
