How to ensure your marketing activities are effective when it comes to small business marketing.

Let’s be honest, anyone these days can create a social media account and send some posts out, it’s not that hard.

What is hard is making sure that whatever activities you’re doing are cutting through in your competitive industry. If you’re saying the same thing, offering the same thing and delivering the same thing, then the time, money and energy spent on your activities are wasted.

What’s key before you become a social media posting robot or a Google AdWords expert is to ensure that you’ve spent time to think about what makes you different to everyone else or create a difference. There’s always a way to minimize the competition. ALWAYS.

Is that hard? Yes it is. (Not for us). What’s harder is spending endless hours on marketing activities with no tangible outcome and your business failing because you’re not driving revenue through the door. That’s what’s harder.

So spend the time, figure out why you’re different or create a difference, and then communicate it over and over again. This will give your marketing activities the best chance of success.
